Celebrate in style in a wonderfully elegant venue in the

Queen Mary,
University of London
offers a great choice of spaces for
your wedding reception.
You may choose to use more than one of their venues –
for example, welcoming your guests with champagne
on the Queens’ Building lawn before progressing to the
stunning Octagon (formerly the College library) for a sit-
down wedding meal followed by dancing. In the
summer, a wealth of on-campus accommodation is
available so that you and your guests can make the
most of spending time together.
As every wedding is unique, you can tailor a package to
your exact requirements. QM’s experienced teamwill talk
you through your options, helping you plan the perfect
celebration down to the tiny details that make all the
difference, complete with expertly crafted wedding menus.

the perfect space for it. Le Pin, a hand-painted room
inspired by the Art Nouveau artist Gustav Klimt, seats
up to 40; Ruinart, a simplistically rustic space with
distinctive features and its own rooftop terrace, seats
up to 72; and for more intimate celebrations for up to
12, light and airy Lanson is lovingly adorned with
painted cherubs on the ceiling. A drinks reception for
up to 120 can be held in the Christies Library and/or
the Janneau Bar – the perfect way to toast your
union.

The Shire London
in
Barnet makes a wonderful wedding venue, whatever size or
style you’re planning. The Seve Ballesteros-designed golf
course has fantastic facilities and the capability to deliver a
perfect day to your individual specification.
The Shire holds a civil wedding licence, so your
marriage ceremony can be in the same location
as your reception. There is room for 80 for the
ceremony and 150 guests at table or 200 for a
buffet function in a delightful, self-contained
suite, with its own bar, entrance and ample car
parking space. Panoramic vistas across the Seve
Masters course make an ideal backdrop for your
photographs and a superb location for
outdoor refreshments.
