I
have always had a love for vintage and quirky
things, and I love doing collaborations with
local businesses. It gives me a chance to be
creative and put my imagination to good use!
Don’t get me wrong – I love shooting real
weddings, but those are about the couple and
their love for each other. Collaborations are about
the sometimes-crazy ideas and visions that pop
into my head.
I absolutely adore the ’50s-’60s era. The dresses,
the music, the cars… That’s why when I drove past
the Manor Road Garage in East Preston, Sussex by
Timeless sTyle

pure chance, I knew I just had to shoot it!
I wanted to blend the ’50s and ’60s –
something vintage with something contemporary
and a little edgier, like a same-sex wedding. It
took quite a bit of planning, and as the location
was outdoors, it all had to be a bit last minute and
required a lot of organisation.
I was lucky enough to find a little gem of a
vintage bridal boutique in Hove for the dresses,
and button bouquets made for some funky props
for the shoot.
