REGISTERED MANAGER
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual to take up
the post of Registered Manager. The successful candidate will ideally:
Have recent experience of managing a residential rehab
Have the ability to lead a team of experienced and enthusiastic staff
Have the ability to work with a wide range of addiction and other
professionals
Have experience of working to the Care Quality Commission’s
regulations and outcomes
Possess professional qualifications in health or social care
including working with addiction
Possess management qualifications to QCF Level 5 or working
towards these qualifications
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications
Any offer of employment will be dependent on a successful Care Quality
Commission application for Registered Manager, an Enhanced DBS

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible manager to oversee our CQC
registered care home which provides flexible rehabilitation to alcohol dependant
male and female adults. In addition to leading a multi-disciplinary team and
ensuring its smooth day-to-day running, you will be liaising with outside agencies,
so excellent communication skills are essential as well as a good, practical
understanding of issues relating to dependant drinkers. Ideally you should have
suitable management experience or possess or be working towards a relevant
professional qualification. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Support Worker in
ROADS Housing Pathway
at Logos House
£19,230 pa starting salary

40 hours per week, including evenings & weekends on a rota
As part of the Bristol ROADS programme
, Logos House has
a 10-bed intake preparation programme based within the
Lifehouse. As a Support Worker you will empower individuals
to overcome the barriers they face, achieve their aspirations
and support them to move towards independent living.
Using a person-centred approach and therapeutic alliance,
you will support and empower individuals to sustain their
journey of recovery from addiction and homelessness. The
successful candidate will have a working knowledge of
homelessness, substance misuse, the cycle of change, and
understand the barriers faced when moving on. They will also
be able to contribute to a culture of change and work closely
with key stakeholders.
You will also be expected to fulfil duty management and on
call duties on a rota basis.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
• An understanding of the ROADS housing pathway
• A caring, empathic approach to the people we support
• An understanding of working in a therapeutic,
psychologically informed manner
• The ability to work closely with a small team
You will also need to be able to work within the Christian
ethos of The Salvation Army.

disclosure check, confirmation of enrolment to the DBS
Update Service, and satisfactory references.
