I
am a professional female photographer and have been
shooting for ten years. I’ve photographed everything
from Olympic athletes and celebrities to makeover
photoshoots and weddings. I am not your ‘regular’
photographer, in that I don’t just go for the ‘expected
shots’ – I always like to try something a little different.
I was first inspired by the concept of an abandoned house
– then the dresses followed, and then so did the models.
The photoshoot was very quick and spontaneous,
while at the same time, having a very relaxed feel. We were
working with a lot of movement and it involved a lot of
‘thinking on my toes’ to get the right shots. The models
were brilliant – Salleh has a great deal of experience as a
model, and Tasha has graced the covers of
Vogue
.
The dress designer, Maibritt, has a very creative side
and her pieces are truly inspirational. Her designs feature
embellished dresses accompanied by matching capes and
cardigans – and headpieces too!
We achieved some stunning images together for
couples to look at and hopefully get some inspiration for
their very own unique wedding day.
