Katherine and Michelle
was escorted down the aisle by her mum and dad. Both of
my parents are gone, so i walked in with a dear family
friend.
Our friend, dr Janet Frick, presided over the ceremony.
She wrote some amazing vows – we just tweaked them a
little. during our vows, i could only see Michelle’s face.
everything else around her was a complete blur. Our first

the wedding and the reception were both under the
tent because of the rain, but it was magical. rainy, humid,
sweaty – but magical! the food was delicious, the music
rocked and the wine, which Michelle made herself, was
amazing. the view of the river was breathtaking, and the
guests were blown away.
We were truly overwhelmed by how beautiful
everything was. as we sat down to dinner, i started to cry
– just seeing how happy all the people were, how
beautiful everyone looked, and how much love was
under that tent.
We advise other couples to hire a great wedding
coordinator. it was worth every penny. We could not have
pulled this off without the help of ellen and her daughter
Kristin of Bride’s Vision.
Keep a binder with all of your contracts, deposits,
meetings and so on – without documentation, you are at
the vendors’ mercy.
try not to get caught up in the little details – i got
stuck in the detail vortex. it made me crazy and i made
Michelle crazy. the day will go by so fast; you won’t even
remember or know if your table candles were lined up
perfectly or if the tall vases were in the front or the back
of the room. it doesn’t matter. What matters is that you
love each other, and you should just enjoy the party.
