Castle Menzies
in
Perthshire – licensed for both civil and religious ceremonies. The grand
ballroom, known as the Dewar Room, has a splendid plaster ceiling and
fine views through the large windows. This Victorian baronial-style room
seats up to 120, and up to 200 for a wedding ceremony and ceilidh or
other dancing – and the landing directly outside the Dewar Room is a
great spot for a bar.
For smaller gatherings, the Main Hall, directly off the main spiral
staircase and informally known as the Pink Room, is a grand panelled
Georgian-style room, full of natural light. This room can hold
approximately 54 for a sit-down meal, 120 for a stand-up buffet and 80
for a seated wedding ceremony. As an added treat for your guests you
can arrange castle tours during your reception – pure class!
