Hidden beneath Thrybergh's old stone walls and
overhanging trees, you will find the beautiful Gothic
mansion that is Rotherham Golf Club – there are few
clubs in the UK that can claim such a glorious location
and magnificent Club House.
A beautiful timbered parkland and 18 hole golf course
surround the house, attracting players from across the country,
with the added benefit of an on-site pro-shop. Within the Club
House you will find a selection of function rooms, available
for hire. It's an ideal setting for your Civil Ceremony.
The recently refurbished ‘19th hole’ is the main bar. The bar
is spacious, and remains in keeping with the 19th century
building and boasts beautiful views of the golf course and
access to the outdoor patio area.
The Jack Hulley Lounge is the main function room - named
after the Clubs Past President, the room can be laid out and
decorated as desired for your special event. Capable of
seating 80 people with direct access to the main bar.
At the rear of the building is The Fullerton Room - named
after the Fullerton family who constructed and lived in the
clubhouse, it is ideal for any civil ceremony and can be laid
out to your liking. The room is capable of seating 60 people
but can also be hired for smaller events.
The lounge's large windows offer views of the golf course
and of the clubs historic beech tree – A relaxing and
comfortable room for your occasion.
