Same-sex marriage in Argentina has been legal since 22
July 2010, making it the first country in latin America to
allow same-sex marriage, and the tenth country
worldwide.
Although many parts of Argentina have a residency
requirement for couples to marry, the provinces of Buenos
Aires, Santa fe, and tierra del fuego all allow foreign
couples to take the plunge in this gorgeous country – just
make sure that you have all the appropriate tourist visas
and leave enough time to get everything in order before
you travel.
