Empowering people through education to
take back their lives and break the chains
of their addiction permanently
Intuitive Recovery has been operating within the North West Drug and
Alcohol Treatment system for five years and over this time has gained a
reputation as a leading tool in the fight against addiction. We are now
commissioned by 18 DAATs across the North West, Midlands, Wales and
London and this number is growing all the time.
‘Truly amazing course – I still can't believe just how easy
it has turned out to be. Twenty-three years using heroin
is now firmly laid to rest – I can't tell you what a relief that
is. If you are in two minds about sitting this course don't
be – you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.’
LG – Rochdale
Intuitive Recovery is highly cost effective. The course is classroom-based
and accredited to the Open College Network, ensuring best practice at all
times and awarding our graduates a nationally recognised qualification.

ADS (Addiction Dependency Solutions) is a regional charity established in
1973 working with individuals, families and communities affected by
addiction. By placing clients at the centre of our work and responding to
need, we help to transform lives and promote change.
Last year ADS received 15,106 referrals and had over 103,592 contacts with
clients. We worked with them to help them put their lives back on track.
We employ a variety of methods: abstinence, maintenance and, in the case
of alcohol, controlled drinking programmes. But the core of our belief
remains the same: we are positive about change and we believe that all our
clients have it in them to overcome their problems and become productive
members of society. When a client comes to us they come as an individual
with their own unique set of circumstance and responses, and our primary
aim is to respond to them as they are. This approach is very much part of
our identity and our values. As an independent charity we are able to be
flexible, responsive and, above all, continue to retain and develop a
personal and sensitive approach.

“ADS have shown total commitment throughout my
recovery. Without their help, kindness and guidance I
shudder to think where I would be now.”
