parents and then I did a video speech just for Kate. a er the
speeches we had a jukebox for the entertainment, which
allowed the guests to choose their own music. With the bar
and the music, the night was perfect!
We had lovely compliments a er the day – everyone
said it was the best wedding they had been to. I believe it
was all down to the relaxed nature of the day. We also had
no waiting around, which you can sometimes get with early
ceremony weddings. We just gave our guests a weekend of
fun, laughter and a whole heap of romance.
It was amazing to see the table decorations come
together, as we hadn’t seen it all until the day itself because of
needing to hire tables. looking back now, we wouldn’t change
a single thing. We especially liked how our guests were sat
during the vows, all in a circle with us in the middle. all we
wanted was for our family and friends to all be together – that
was our main aim and having them there made us happy.
the ceremony in particular was the highlight, as that
was the main point of the day. Seeing each other walking in
was amazing and having a very intimate wedding enhanced
the moment. the venue we chose was by far the most
spectacular venue we had seen and made our day perfect.
Our advice to other couples would be to make sure you
put your personality into your wedding day. It’s so important
to choose a venue that reflects everything about the two of
you. We even took candles and beach decorations from our
home to put in the room to give that extra feel of it being
our wedding.
also, hold each other when you say your vows – never
be afraid to be romantic on the biggest day of your lives.
