DandelionWars Productions is a film, music and media based
company located in the south west of England. With the handy
ability to travel and work anywhere in the country, the company
was born from the creative visions of Adam Dawson, better known
as Daws, and Lee Ireland, better known as... well, Lee.
Daws and Lee have known and worked together creatively for more than 20 years
before they joined forces and combined their strengths with this innovative media
company.
Their work started with making short films, which soon led on to working with
various record labels – creating music videos which enabled them to work with
names such as Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats, The Jets (of 80s Rockabilly
fame), Rebel Dean and former Radio One DJ Mike Reid. This guided them into
theatre, and they have been filming and bringing to DVD various national and
international theatre shows over the past three years.
Their latest achievement was to take on the task of filming a high profile
wedding, which just so happened to be the first gay wedding at Kensington Palace.
‘We felt very lucky to be offered this opportunity and knew straight away we
would have many ideas to bring to the project,' says Daws.
Lee adds, ‘We really connected with this job and look forward to being involved
in other opportunities of this type – it was an excellent experience.’
DandelionWars shoot using top-quality HD cameras to deliver the best results
possible. The company also offers a very talented team, meaning no job is too big
or too small – the sky is the limit!
‘We are very discrete and have had many surprised customers in the past comment
on how unobtrusive we are while shooting. This is very important to us as we are very
focused on customer satisfaction and enjoy working with people to ensure our
product translates their special day onto the screen as best we can,’ say the duo.
'With many returning happy customers, we feel we achieve this while always
striving for more.’
The team are happy to discuss your ideas and iron out exactly what you’re
looking for from your wedding film.
