AlmA And GilliAn
pictures we had a small cocktail reception
and then went to a restaurant for dinner
with Gill’s parents. even though we had only
four guests at our wedding, we had a beach
full of spectators. All we heard for the rest of
our holiday were comments about how our
ceremony was unlike anything they’d seen,
and how beautiful it was.
Our ceremony was absolutely perfect
and the high point for us. it was so intimate
and unique, and really beautiful. it focused
on us and our love for each other, and was
unforgettable. The mayan shaman who
conducted our ceremony really made us feel
like she was connecting with us.
The days leading up the ceremony were
rainy and the forecast was for rain on our
wedding day – in fact it was raining up until
a few hours before our ceremony. We
thought we would have to go with an
indoor location. We were so relieved when
we looked out to see blue skies. There were
rain clouds all around the area, except over
our ceremony location!
Your wedding is about you as a couple,
committing yourselves to one another. So
we’d say to other couples, don’t let the focus
slip away from that. don’t let little things
ruin your day or get to you.
