I can’t believe how fast this year has gone. We
have seen more Gay Wedding Shows hit the
UK, with many more planned for 2015, and
have heard some of the best news about civil
partnerships, same-sex marriages and, of
course, the ever important conversions later
this year.
I’m so happy to say that since launching all of our projects to support you and
your partner, we sit proud, celebrating 11 years of helping same-sex couples. This
just happens to be our 11th edition of the awesome Pink Weddings Magazine – of
course, it’s our pride and joy.
So, what do we have in store for this edition? Well, it’s packed with some amazing
support for you, your partner, family and friends. We get up close and personal
with Royal Navy Petty Officer Craig Hewitt, who tells us about his experience in
the military – being gay and, of course, how he met his special loved one.
We know how much you love to hear ‘real life’ stories, and this edition has plenty
on offer – from Fraser and Lee, who share their bonnie Highland wedding dream,
to Alma and Gillian, both Canadian military who got married in Mexico, with their
white sand beach wedding and some stunning underwater photos. Then we shoot
over to Wisconsin with its picturesque prairies, waterside wonders and amazing
museums to read about how Jackie and Joanna put their pastel pink and mint
touch to their wedding in this stunning state.
And if that’s not enough, we speak to Damian Clarkson, who gives us his top ten
most unusual wedding venues, Karin Walker of KGW Family Law who shares how
best to protect yourselves in the eyes of the law, and
we show you what’s hot on the fashion scene this
autumn and winter.
There is so much more packed into this issue, so we
hope you enjoy our 11th edition as much as we did
putting it all together.
