Festival fever
If you’re a couple that likes to party, why not really go
for it with your own mini-festival? The
Original Pop-
Up Festival Company
can help you plan every last
detail of your wedding event – from 50 people to
5,000, it has every aspect covered.
Imagine fairy-lit paths through the trees, canvas big
tops with aerial and circus acts, vintage ferris wheels
and spectacular fireworks. You’ll get all the help you
need with planning the entertainment – whether
it’s flame-throwing stilt-walking jugglers, raving
techno DJs or a Moulin Rouge floor show, the
company can secure almost any type of act.
Traditional village fête, vintage rock and roll, classic cabaret
or a futuristic theme – no two events are alike and the
company relishes the opportunity to be different, priding
itself on its creativity and style.
A festival can pop up anywhere – in your garden, a hotel
grounds or a friendly farmer’s field – but don’t worry if you
don’t have the land, the company has sites all over the
country to accommodate you and your guests. And they’ll
take care of every detail, including all the boring stuff like
parking, toilets, camping areas and lighting. It’ll all leave you
and your partner free to enjoy the party of your lives. And
when you’ve had enough of dancing under the stars, you can
retire to the comfort of a luxury yurt, beautifully decorated
for the most intimate experience. What could be more
romantic?

Gorgeous gothic
Hidden beneath Thrybergh’s old stone walls and overhanging trees lies
the beautiful Gothic mansion that is
Rotherham Golf Club
. Dating back
to 1814, it officially became a Golf Club in 1903, offering beautiful
timbered parkland and 18-hole golf course surrounding the house.
There are a number of function rooms available for hire, each as
gorgeous as
the next. The
recently
refurbished
‘19th hole’ is
the main bar.
Spacious, and
with updated
décor, it still
remains in
keeping with
the 19th
century building and boasts
beautiful views of the golf
course, with access to the
outdoor patio area.
The Jack Hulley Lounge is the main function room – the suite can be
laid out and decorated as desired for your special day. At the rear of
the building is the Fullerton Room, ideal for any civil ceremony and
with seating for up to 60 people. The choice is yours!
