John and Michael
There was a lovely sense of occasion throughout the
day. The staff at the old Finsbury Town hall were very
helpful, as they organised lighting, the all-important
microphone for speeches and coordinated the suppliers’
deliveries. We had great suggestions regarding how best to
decorate the rooms too.
We had 50 guests at the registration, and then a total
of 180 in the evening. There was live music, special green
lighting and everyone participated in the theme by
wearing green, which added to the fantastic atmosphere.
Michael and i came up with the idea for the lighting and
the effect was amazing – the interior columns and grand
statues in the Great hall were lit up, complete with a
spectacular effect on the ceiling. The feature lighting was a
big hit and looked stunning on the night. We also had a
live irish singer, Rich McMahon, who was brilliant in the
evening.
Guests were delighted with the catering, and we were
really happy with the support of the old Finsbury Town hall
team in organising our event beforehand – they were great
with helping to ensure that we resolved any pre-event
planning issues.
everyone seemed to really enjoy the occasion and they
all happily par cipated in the green theme. There was also a
fantas c buzz and sense of celebra on on the day. We were
delighted that everything ran so smoothly.
