7. Smooth your
eyebrows
with a
brush. You can use a
little dark powder
for definition, but I’m
using a clean brush
on kaya’s brows as
she’s fair.
8. Prepare your eye
shadow
by using a
shimmery base to help
the shadow
stay on. You
can use any
beige colour
and take it
right to the
corners of
your eyes.
9. Apply a deeper shade
to
the outer edges of your eyes. I’m
using a corally shade as it works
well with the peachy bronze tones
and creates a natural look.
10. Define the outer edges
of your
eyes with a dark eye shadow and fine
brush. It’ll give you a so er look than
eyeliner.
11. Curl your eyelashes
, then
apply mascara. use a lash separator
for perfect definiton. It’s not worth
having false lashes for one day, when
you can buy really good mascara.
SOPHIA SAYS…
Don’t do anything you wouldn’t do normally – like
having a facial or threading for hair removal – before
your wedding day. You don’t want to surprise your
skin into breaking into spots or rashes. Road test all
the products you will be using and decant everything
you can into travel-size pots. You can carry the small
sizes in your hand luggage – and use your
bridesmaids to take stuff for you! Treat yourself and
use the best products you can afford. If you’re not
used to wearing make-up go for a natural look.
Get a bridesmaid to carry a little touch-up kit containing
lip gloss, mascara and bronzer. A little packet of blotting
papers will help you get rid of shine but stop the look
from becoming over-powdered during touch-ups
throughout the day. And if you’re having a beach holiday,
sea salt is a natural exfoliator – so take advantage!
