, Michael Morpurgo’s
emotonal journey through history has been seen by more than
1.5m people worldwide. it tells the story of a young albert, who
embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse Joey – sold to
the cavalry and shipped to France at the outbreak of the First
World War. albert is too young to enlist but finds himself caught
up in enemy fire on his quest to bring him home.
The drama has recently been adapted for the big screen by
Stephen Spielberg, but you can catch the original producton with
its astonishing life-sized puppets, untl February 2013.
