‘Crumpet! was largely inspired by my passion for
designing cakes that had a wonderful air of glamour
and indulgence about them,’ she says.
The company’s original take on flavour and style
has made them a popular alternative for couples
wanting something less traditional for their civil
partnership, to give their day a real sense of glamour.
Becca likes to design cakes that ‘ooze rich, delicious
flavours, a gorgeous feast for all the senses’ and has
an innovative range of flavours such as Raspberry
Mud Cakes and Rose and Pistachio Turkish Delights.
‘We’ve also noticed that towers of cupcakes have
become increasingly popular because you can delight
your guests with a range of flavours and style the
whole look to a particular theme – for instance a 40s
vintage look,’ she says.
