aling Town Hall is situated at the centre of this dynamic
borough. The breathtaking architecture of the 19th
century building is offset perfectly by all the modern
conveniences you would expect to find at a first-rate

building was expanded in 1930 to create the Town Hall
building as you see it today. The Town Hall can cater to

a room with royal connotations, the Victoria Hall was
designed by Victorian engineer and surveyor charles Jones
as a commemoration of good Queen Vic’s golden Jubilee.
The style is gothic revival, and as the largest room in the
town Hall – seating up to 450 guests theatre style or 250
for dining – the grand staircase and gorgeous
hammerbeam roof create the perfect atmosphere for a
right royal do.

The princes Hall is a more contemporary space, ideal for a
