Welcome!
I can’t believe that I am in the writng this in the midst of the Gay Wedding
Shows and all I can see are signs for Christmas. Really..? Where has the
summer gone?
Autumn’s arrived – and so has our next magazine. Packed with innovatve
ideas, stunning concepts and advice, this editon will offer you and your
partner everything you need to plan the perfect day.
By now you know I love the cowboy life and in this editon we talk about
cowboys and cowgirls, real life stories, and the gay rodeo in Arizona that’s dear
to my heart.
Read all about Diane and Ramona’s wedding in London, Dean and Daniel’s
experience of adoptng their son and ideas on how to plan your wedding on a
shoestring. We have our usual eye on style, as Julian Bennet from the hit TV
series
Queer eye for the straight guy
talks to us about the latest autumn fashion
trends direct from London Fashion week. And we speak to a celebrant for ideas
and offer a selecton of touching poems – all to make your ceremony perfect.
I have to say, it never ceases to amaze me how creatve civil partnerships
get, and our couples are pulling out all the tricks to add that magical ‘wow’
factor. The team are always searching for new ideas to share with you in this
magazine, fromways of cutng the cake afer the ceremony to using a tree as
a guest book, all of which you will see in the coming issues.
Time for me to get soppy now, and say how thankful I am for your support
and all your kind words about our magazine. Don’t forget it’s your help that
makes this magazine a success, and by combining our ideas with yours we can
help everyone create the perfect day, just as it should be.
