This unit aims to provide the student with practical approaches, underpinned by
the relevant theory, which will enable them to contribute to the effective
management of people in an organisation.
MEETING STAKEHOLDER & QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

The aim of this unit is to make the student aware of their role in maintaining
standards and assessing health and safety in the workplace, the purpose of risk
assessment and quality audit.
MINDFULNESS BASED RELAPSE PREVENTION (MBRP)
29 JULY – 2 AUGUST

With Sarah Bowen PhD, University of Washington.
MBRP (Bowen, Chawla and Marlatt, 2010) is an eight week group-based
treatment approach, similar to MBCT but developed for individuals in recovery
from addictive behaviors.

Recovery requires good quality relationships. To help build this recovery capital,
working with groups in intensive treatment this way might be described as
'Interpersonal Relapse Prevention'.
